Over the course of the last several months, I was the target of retaliatory actions from an HOA and ACC concerning the denial of my request for hurricane shutters. As a homeowner in the community and a previous President of the Board for several years, I was subject to a dispute centered around certain members of the Board and ACC. The ACC is defined and created by authority granted within the Association's governing documents, and the actions taken were the subject of a dispute as I believe they did not fall within the parameters of the CC&R's. Miscommunication between these two entities resulted in unfair and unreasonable denial of my ACC request. As a result, I contacted Robert W. Pillinger, Esq., of your office for assistance. Correspondence was mailed to the Board several times with no response. Therefore, I had no choice but to consider filing a lawsuit.
