I received Elizabeth Arwood’s contact information from the domestic violence resources of Washington. Despite paying close to 20k, she dropped me because I was upset by her not working towards my divorce. She is not a clear communicator, she expects prompt responses to her requests but doesn’t give the courtesy of the same. She has an agenda of what she wants and if a client doesn’t understand or wants follow up, she’ll accuse you of non responsive and then charge you 500$ for an email. Her fees are so unreasonable that you become paralyzed to respond because you know you will be charged for a hour of her time just to seek clarification. The little amount of work she actually does, is not worth the money being charged. She doesn’t listen to her clients, she has her own agenda and doesn’t meet the client where they are at. Again, for someone that she knows was a victim of domestic abuse, she has zero empathy and shows zero kindness towards me! Her paralegals are unprofessional, one spoke to me for nearly an hour about her daughter’s bowling and then charged me for her time. I don’t think she actually has any experience with working with victims of domestic abuse. She is only interested in her payments and I found her extremely unhelpful, confusing and rude. I would not hire her services if you are interested in obtaining a divorce.
